Additional Aid of 300 Million Dollars from Japan to Ukraine
The effects of the war that started with the Russian invasion of Ukraine continue to linger. Japan has announced that it will provide an additional 300 million dollars in financial aid to Ukraine, which has been subjected to relentless attacks.
Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio made statements about Ukraine. The Japanese leader stated at a press conference that his country would increase its support for Ukraine in the face of financial difficulties. Fumio stated that they had received requests to support short-term funds from Ukraine, which was experiencing financial difficulties as a result of Russia's ongoing attacks.
Saying that "As a G-7 country, they should meet such needs," Kishida Fumio added that his country will provide an additional 300 million dollars in financial aid to Ukraine. With this aid provided, the financial aid volume of Japan to Ukraine will have reached the level of 600 million dollars in total, with the 300 million dollars announced last month.
