Aid to 2 Million Families from the Ministry of Family and Social Services
The Minister of Family and Social Services, Yanık, announced that more than 2 million households will be provided with a full quarantine of 1100 TL.
A statement of aid to 2 million families came from the
Ministry of Family and Social Services. Making a written statement, Derya Yanık, Minister of Family and Social Services, announced that they have started a new aid program called "Full Quarantine Social Assistance Program" to support households in need during the full quarantine process.
Noting that the full quarantine program will be carried out by the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations (SYDV) for households who are considered to have periodic need due to the coronavirus epidemic, Yanık used the following statements:
"We received the applications for our previous Social Support Program via e-Government. We will make a 'Full Quarantine Social Assistance Program' payment of 1100 lira per household to more than 2 million households that have previously applied via e-Government and have been identified by our SYDVs that they need."
Stating that the old and disabled pensions within the scope of the Law No. 2022, which were paid in the same period, will be made together with the payments of the Full Quarantine Social Assistance Program, Yanık said, reminded that it can be controlled.
183 Million Lira Additional Resource for SYDVs
On the other hand, it was noted that the support payments to be made by the Ministry will be transferred to the bank accounts of those who have bank account information in e-Government applications before, and to the PTT cards of those who do not have bank account information in their applications.
The Ministry stated that it will also transfer an additional 183 million
Turkish lira to continue the support to other households supported by the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations.
