Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on May 2
Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on May 2 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 767 thousand 117 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 762 thousand 328 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 34 thousand 581 megawatt-hour at 8 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 26 thousand 276 megawatt-hour at 7 am.
While 767 thousand 767 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 762 thousand 328 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 24.2 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 15,1 percent and wind power plants with 14.4 percent.
While 6,258 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday, 10,897 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
