All-Time Record in Title Deed Fee
All-time record was broken in the title deed fee. Turkey’s overall title fee income was 13.8 billion pounds in the last 9 months.
According to the information obtained from the Strategy Development Departments Deed and Records section by the AA correspondent, in January-September period Turkey has broken the record with the sale of 1 million 998 thousand 541 real estate (residential, business, land, farms).
In the said period, besides 2 million real estate sales, donations at the title deed, ÖKBA (Until Death Operation), division, transfer, personal mortgage, agricultural mortgage, residential mortgage, personal mortgage release, agricultural mortgage abandonment, genus allocation, expropriation and other transactions. 7 million 841 thousand transactions were recorded.
A value of 371 billion 77 million TL has been submitted for approximately 2 million real estates sold between January and September. The value submitted with ÖKBA, division, transfer, personal mortgage, agricultural mortgage,
housing mortgage, expropriation and other transactions was 1 trillion 736 billion TL.
All Time Record Broken in 9 Months
While 13 billion 445 million lira of fee income was obtained from the sales made within 9 months, the fee income from all transactions was 13 billion 848 million lira. Accordingly, an all-time annual record was recorded in the 9-month period of the year. The highest annual figure in the past period was 11 billion 291 million lira in 2018.
The incentive to reduce the title deed fee from 4 percent in sales to 3 percent last year continued until the end of the year, and the title deed fee earned at the end of the year was recorded as 10 billion 924 million TL.
