Caracas Air, Venezuela's leading aviation academy, has started accepting Bitcoin payments. CEO of the company, Oliver Laufer, in a statement on his Twitter account, stated that Bitcoin is accepted as a new payment tool and those who prefer the new payment method will receive a discount.
CEO Oliver Laufer, a graduate of Miami Dade Collage, founded the company with his brother in 2015. 12 years ago they sold everything to buy a Cessna 172 Skyhawk plane and set up a flight school.
Caracas Air, which has become one of the fastest growing aviation academies in Latin America, currently has approximately 900 students.
