Apple Has Delayed the Return to the Office Once Again
Apple has delayed the return to the office once again. The increasing number of cases caused the return date to be delayed.
Apple announced that it has postponed the return to the office until January at the earliest, as the delta variant again raises concerns about the epidemic. The company, which previously aimed to return to the company in September, had moved this date to October. Apple planned that its employees work from the office three days a week.
Delta Variant Raises Concerns
New restrictions due to the Delta variant are becoming increasingly common in Asia-Pacific. Australia has extended two months of lockdown measures in its largest city, Sydney. New Zealand has also decided to extend the national quarantine by four days.
A record was broken on Thursday with 25,156 new cases in Japan. It was stated that there was a bed problem in hospitals in the country.
Besides
Apple, other companies continue to delay their return to the office. PwC has delayed the return of its employees to its US offices until November 1. IBM, on the other hand, decided to close its offices in New York again, citing the current Covid-19 conditions.
