Asian stock markets started the day mixed. While the Asia Pacific Region struggles to navigate Tuesday's transactions, the sharp decline in Nomura continued.
The decline in the stocks of the Japanese financial services group and investment bank
Nomura continued in Tuesday's transactions. Shares lost nearly 3 percent in value. The company's stocks declined by more than 16 percent in Monday's transactions.
Looking at the data announced by the country's Ministry of Trade, Economy and Industry in Japan, retail sales decreased by 1.5 percent in February compared to the same period of 2020.
In the country, Nikkei lost 0.17 percent in the morning session of 225, while the depreciation in the Topix Index saw over 1 percent.
In mainland China, indices continue to be traded in the loss zone.
South Korean stocks rose slightly, while Australia followed a positive trend.
Except for Japan, the MSCI Asia Pacific Region followed a nearly horizontal course.
