Ayhan Kızıltan Explains Energy Costs
Ayhan Kızıltan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, evaluated the results of increasing costs. Kızıltan stated that Europe is turning to North African countries and according to feedback from European companies, North African countries produce a product that Turkish manufacturers produce for 8.5 euros for 4.5 euros.
Ayhan Kızıltan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, made evaluations about the increasing energy costs of manufacturers in the sector. Participating in the Bloomberg HT broadcast, Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Ayhan added that Europe is now turning to North Africa due to increasing costs. Kızıltan used the following statements in his speech: "Just as we follow the price situation for Europe, the Europeans are also following and warning us: 'Electricity prices have risen so much in your country, labor costs have also risen, a product that you give us for 8.5 euros is made for 4.5 euros in North African countries such as Tunisia in the research we have done.
