It was reported that the Joe Biden administration in the USA is considering the issuance of a decree on cryptocurrencies. According to Bloomberg's report, which is based on confidential sources, the Biden administration is considering the issue of issuing a decree on cryptocurrencies. Sources, who did not want to be named, stated that the proposed decree would authorize federal agencies to examine and make recommendations in related areas of cryptocurrency. On the other hand, it was underlined that the said decree is still in the evaluation phase. In addition, it was informed that the decree on cryptocurrencies also aims to coordinate the work of institutions on digital currencies across the executive branch. According to people familiar with the matter, the proposal will pave the way for government departments paying less attention to cryptocurrencies to focus on the subject. Also, one of the sources stated that the White House is considering appointing a crypto leader as its representative.
