In the USA, one of the first countries to introduce the coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine, political leaders will be vaccinated in order to increase public confidence in the vaccine. According to the statement made by Joe Biden's team, Biden, which will take over in January, will have the coronavirus vaccine next week.
It was also announced that Vice President Mike Pence would receive the first dose on Friday. Pence's wife and the country's top public health official, Jerome Adams, were also reported to receive the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine on Friday.
