Billionaire Abramovich sells his boeing private jet
Russian-Israeli billionaire Roman Abramovich sells his Boeing 767-300ER private jet. He wants at least $ 100 million for the Bandit, as the owner of the football Chelsea called it.
The machine from 2003 has 1954 flights. However, it first got into the air in 2007 and has so far flown a total of 7,080 flight hours. The aircraft is in charge of Global Jet, which was also one of the first to inform about its sale.
For a relatively high selling price, especially the interior of the renowned designer Andrew Winch. It also has a bedroom for the owners and two other special guests. A maximum of 34 people can fit in the Bandit. The private forest plane earned its nickname due to its appearance. There is a special black stripe around the cockpit windows, which resembles a mask of criminals.
The new owner can look forward to two bathrooms, two kitchens, a dining room and a living room in the interior of the aircraft. There is also a library or a separate lounge where you can light a cigarette or a cigar. Each room also has its own air conditioning and is equipped with unique chestnut furniture, which also has gilded edging.
From other private aircraft, it has Abramovich's and a special anti-missile system, which is used, for example, by
Air Force One of US President Joe Biden. Even due to these high security features, Abramovich hopes that the aircraft will be sold at a much higher price, at least for $ 300 million. Fourteen years ago, Abramovich's machine cost another $ 15 million and cost $ 315 million. Now, however, it will depend on the specific redemption offer.
Abramovich did not linger long with the new aircraft. According to available information, his latest piece in the garage was the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, which was manufactured in June 2015. It was originally intended for the Swiss commercial airline PrivatAir, which, however, abruptly ceased operations.
Abramovich, whose family comes from
Lithuania, is one of the richest people in the United Kingdom. He is also considered a great patron. The Israeli media reports that over the last more than twenty years, the businessman has donated tens of billions to the state of Israel and to Jewish organizations in Russia. He acquired Israeli citizenship in the spring of 2018.
