BIST 100 Closed The Day With A Loss

BIST 100 closed the day with a loss. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index lost 0.88 percent and ended the day with 1,382.15 points.

At the end of the day, the BIST 100 index decreased by 12.20 points compared to its previous closing, and the total transaction volume was recorded as 22.5 billion liras. At the closing, the banking index lost 1.26 percent, while the holding index lost 0.50 percent. Among the industry indices, sports were the most profitable with 7.19 percent, while the most decline was recorded on mining with 2.69 percent. Analysts stated that next week, domestic economic confidence index, foreign trade statistics, manufacturing industry Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) data will be followed, while the US employment report, growth in the UK, PMI which will be announced worldwide will be monitored abroad. In technical terms, analysts noted that the level of 1.465 is in the resistance position and the level of 1.340 is in the support position for the BIST 100 index.
