General manager appointment was made in Borsa Istanbul. Korkmaz Enes Ergun became the new general manager.

The General Assembly in Borsa Istanbul ended. After the meeting, Korkmaz Enes Ergun took the seat of the general manager, replacing Hakan Atilla. In Borsa Istanbul, whose Board of Directors is chaired by Prof. Dr. Erişah Arıcan, Ahmed Ali Al Hammadi was elected as a board member and Işınsu Kestelli was elected as an independent board member. Other board members at Borsa Istanbul were Korkmaz Ergun, Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Altun and Metin Kıratlı, and independent board members were Yunus Arıncı, Prof. Dr. Cem Demiroğlu and Tevfik Eraslan.

Who is Korkmaz Enes Ergun?

Korkmaz Enes Ergun, who graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Business Administration in 1997, started his career in Borsa Istanbul the same year. He completed his master's and doctorate in Marmara University, Department of Economics. Having 22 years of experience in the Stock Exchange and Capital Markets, Ergun has undertaken the evaluation of the public offerings of many companies, the examination of the companies traded and the market activities management. Ergun had previously assumed the position of Deputy General Manager at Borsa Istanbul.
