While the BIST 100 index increased by 7 points compared to Wednesday's closing, the total transaction volume was recorded as 25.9 billion liras. While the banking index increased by 1.84 percent, the holding index decreased by 0.13 percent. Among the industry indices, financial leasing and factoring earned the most with 3.98 percent, while the most decline was on transportation with 1.18 percent. The trend in the bond markets and the news flow regarding the stimulus package, which is planned to be discussed in the Senate by the end of this week in the US, remain the focus of the agenda.
