BIST 100 Closed Wednesday With A Decline
BIST 100 closed Wednesday with a decline. BIST 100 index lost 0.44 percent in Borsa Istanbul and ended the day with 1,385.91 points.
At the end of the day, the
BIST 100 index decreased by 6.08 points compared to its previous closing, and the total transaction volume was recorded as 12.8 billion liras.
At the closing, the banking index gained 0.26 percent, while the holding index gained 0.57 percent. Among the sector indices, financial leasing factoring was the most profitable with 2.73 percent, and mining was the most declining with 2.92 percent.
Analysts stated that the
US Federal Reserve (FED) interest rate decision to be announced tonight and the evaluations of FED Chairman Jerome Powell are at the focus of the markets.
In addition to these, it was stated that the financial results of the companies, which continues to be announced, will be determinant on investor decisions.
In technical terms, analysts stated that the 1330-1.350 band is in the support position for the
BIST 100 index, and a retention of over 1,400 points will be sought to strengthen possible increases.
