BIST 100 ends Thursday with an increase. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 0.81 percent and finished the day with 1,432.04 points.

At the end of the day, the total transaction volume in the BIST 100 index, which increased by 11.55 points compared to the previous closing, was recorded as 13.4 billion liras. At the close, the banking index gained 1.84 percent and the holding index gained 0.85 percent. Among the sector indices, the highest increase was recorded on chemistry, petroleum, plastic with 1.92 percent, while the most decline was recorded on tourism with 1.87 percent. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul moved positively throughout the day, led by bank shares. Analysts stated that the domestic export figures, the US Federal Reserve (Fed) Beige book report, the Producer Price Index (PPI) in the Eurozone and the statements of the European Central Bank (ECB) President Christine Lagarde and Fed members will be closely monitored tomorrow. In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1.390 is in the support position and the level of 1.440 stands out as resistance for the BIST 100 index.
