European Stocks Closed the Day With An Increase

European stocks closed the day with an increase. The Eurozone was closed with an increase on the trading day when inflation data were announced.

At the end of the day, the benchmark index Stoxx Europe 600 rose 0.75 percent to 450.1 points. Inflation Data in the Eurozone

Annual inflation in the Eurozone rose to 2 percent in May. The Manufacturing Industry Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) in the Eurozone, on the other hand, reached its highest level since 1997 with 63.1 points in May.
