BIST 100 Index Broke A Record at Closing

BIST 100 index broke a record at closing. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 0.44 percent and finished the day with 1,615.64 points.

At the end of the day, the total transaction volume in the BIST 100 index, which increased by 7.10 points compared to the previous close, was recorded as 34.6 billion TL. While the banking index lost 0.90 percent at the close, the holding index gained 0.99 percent. Among the sector indices, sports with 4.67 percent earned the most, while the most decline was recorded on financial leasing and factoring with 2.27 percent. In Borsa Istanbul, BIST 100 index gained 0.44 percent and closed the day at 1,615.64 points, renewing its closing record, and bringing its highest level record to 1,631.45 points. Analysts reminded that the statements of the world's leading central bank officials will be followed tomorrow. It was stated that labor force statistics and foreign trade indices in the country, inflation in China, the USA and Germany, and weekly unemployment applications in the USA will be monitored closely. In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 1.640 is in a position of resistance and the level of 1.570 stands out as the support for the BIST 100 index.
