BIST 100 Index Closed Friday With An Increase

BIST 100 index closed Friday with an increase. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index gained 0.95 percent and ended the day with 1,441.33 points.

At the end of the day, the total transaction volume in the BIST 100 index, which increased by 13.60 points compared to the previous closing, was recorded as 26.8 billion liras. At the closing, while the banking index gained 3.09 percent, the holding index gained 0.92 percent. Among the sector indices, mining was the most profitable with 4.60 percent, while the most decline was recorded on financial leasing and factoring with 3.40 percent. Analysts noted that despite the strengthening expectations that interest rates might rise in line with inflation expectations around the world, the trend of buyers continued in the stock markets. Analysts, stating that transactions will be carried out until Wednesday noon in the country due to the Ramadan Holiday next week, the data agenda includes the balance of payments and industrial production in the country, industrial production in the USA, inflation in the USA and China, industrial production in the Eurozone and the growth in the UK. In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1.390 is in the support position for the BIST 100 index and a persistence of over 1,400 points will be sought in order to strengthen possible rises.
