BIST 100 Index Closed The Day With A Decline
BIST 100 index closed the day with a decline. BIST 100 index lost 0.76 percent in Borsa Istanbul and ended the day with 1.530.27 points.
At the end of the day, the
BIST 100 index recorded 11.71 points decrease compared to its previous closing, and the total transaction volume was recorded as 28.1 billion liras.
At the closing, while the banking index lost its value by 2.60 percent, the holding index lost 1.17 percent. Among the sector indices, sports were the most profitable with 2.97 percent, while the highest decline was recorded on leasing and factoring with 3.98 percent.
Analysts stated that the rising oil prices increased the risk perception in global markets after the news that attacks were carried out on "Ras Tanura Port" and Saudi Aramco facilities, one of the world's largest ports in terms of oil shipment. As a result of these developments, the barrel price of
brent oil reached 71 dollars.
While it is stated that the data agenda seems calm in the country tomorrow, while growth in the Eurozone and the session titled “Who Wins on Wall Street? GameStop, Robinhood and the State of Individual Investment ” to be held at the US Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee will be monitored abroad.
In technical terms, analysts noted that the range of 1.550 and 1.570 were in the resistance position and the level of 1.505 is in the support position for the BIST 100 index.
