Hakan Atilla resigned from Borsa Istanbul. General Manager Atilla's request for resignation was accepted.

Borsa Istanbul announced that Hakan Atilla's resignation from his position of general manager of his own will was accepted, and the period of Hakan Atilla in Borsa Istanbul is over. In the statement made by Borsa Istanbul, it was stated that the resignation of General Manager Hakan Atilla was accepted with the decision of the board of directors as of March 8, 2021. In the statement, it was also stated that the decision taken by the stock exchange was notified to the Capital Markets Board. Last Friday, news came out that Hakan Atilla was considering resigning from his post, and stock exchange sources, speaking to Bloomberg HT, stated that Atilla was taking leave of his own will.   Atilla spent 28 months in prison Atilla was tried in the case filed for breaking Iran's sanctions in the USA and spent 28 months in the country. It was informed that the General Assembly will be held on March 26 at Borsa Istanbul.
