BIST 100 Index Closed The Day With A Decline
BIST 100 index closed the day with a decline. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index lost 2.20 percent and finished the day with 1,377.23 points.
At the end of the day, the
BIST 100 index decreased by 30.91 points compared to its previous closing, and the total transaction volume was recorded as 17.1 billion liras.
At the closing, while the banking index lost its value by 3.23 percent, the holding index also lost 2.83 percent. Among the sector indices, financial leasing and factoring gained the most with 1.49 percent, while the highest decline was recorded on tourism with 6.66 percent.
Analysts stated that the increasing tension between the USA and Russia, the developments in Ukraine, the global chip crisis and rising commodity prices stand out as factors that reduce the risk appetite in the markets.
Indicating that the data agenda is calm in the country tomorrow, analysts stated that the unemployment in England and the Producer Price Index (PPI) in Germany will be closely monitored abroad.
On the technical side, analysts stated that the level of 1,440 is in the resistance position and the level of 1,360 is in the support position for the
BIST 100 index.
