BIST 100 Index Closed the Day with a Fall on September 20
BIST 100 index closed the day with a fall on September 20. BIST 100 index depreciated by 1.94 percent in Borsa Istanbul and ended the day with 1,391.91 points.
At the end of the day, the total transaction volume in the
BIST 100 index, which recorded a decrease of 27.51 points compared to the previous days closing, was recorded as 11.7 billion liras.
At the closing in Borsa Istanbul, the banking index depreciated by 3.00 percent, while the holding index depreciated by 1.61%. While all sector indices regressed, metal main industry declined the most with 3.12 percent.
Analysts stated that a seller's course is dominant in the global stock markets today with the uncertainties caused by the upcoming debts of the Chinese company Evergrande.
It was stated that the data agenda is calm in the country tomorrow, while the current account balance, construction permits and housing starts data in the USA will be closely monitored abroad.
In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 1,390 stood out as support, and the resistance of 1,440 strengthened in the short and medium-term outlook for the
BIST 100 index.
