BIST 100 index started the day with a rise on September 21. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the day at 1,400,84 points, gaining 0,64 percent value.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which increased by 8.93 points and 0.64 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,400.84 points. While the banking index gained 0.85 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.75 percent. Among the sector indices, the highest gainer was construction with 2.44%, while the only decline was recorded on securities investment trust with 0.31%. Yesterday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul followed a sales-weighted course parallel to the global stock markets, ending the day at 1,391.91 points with a decrease of 1.94 percent. Analysts said that after the global stock markets followed a sales-heavy course yesterday with concerns about the Chinese company Evergrande, the effect of reaction purchases increased on the new day. It was stated that today, current account balance, construction permits and housing starts statistics will be closely monitored in the USA. In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 1,390 stood out as support, and the levels of 1.405 and 1.413 are in a position of resistance for the BIST 100 index.
