BIST 100 Index Closed The Day With Gains

BIST 100 index closed the day with gains. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index gained 0.18 percent and ended the day with 1,378.37 points.

At the end of the day, the total transaction volume in the BIST 100 index, which increased by 2.46 points compared to its previous closing, was recorded as 19.2 billion liras. At the closing, the banking index gained 0.54 percent, while the holding index lost 0.95 percent. Among the sector indices, sports were the most profitable with 3.85 percent, and the most decline was recorded on construction with 6.16 percent. Analysts stated that the BIST 100 index rose under the leadership of banking stocks in Borsa Istanbul and that the downward trend for 5 days in a row came to an end. On the technical side, analysts stated that 1.400 and 1.440 levels were in a resistance position in the BIST 100 index and that the level of 1.340 stands out as support.
