BIST 100 Index Closed The Week With A Rise
BIST 100 index closed the week with a rise. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index gained 0.25 percent and ended the day with 1,430.19 points.
At the end of the day, the total transaction volume in the
BIST 100 index, which increased by 3.63 points compared to the previous closing, was recorded as 17.3 billion liras.
At the closing, the banking index lost 0.39 percent, while the holding index gained 0.26 percent. Among the industry indices, mining was the most profitable with 4.17 percent, while the highest losing was recorded as securities and investment partnerships with 0.94 percent.
Analysts reminded that the US and European markets are closed today due to the Easter holiday.
In the coming week, domestic inflation and the expectation survey of the
Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) will be followed domestically, while the Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) to be announced worldwide, the US Federal Reserve meeting, factory orders in the USA, inflation in China, will be closely monitored abroad.
In technical terms, analysts stated that if the BIST 100 index is sustained above the 1.440 level, the bullish will may be strengthened, and that the range of 1.390 and 1.340 is in a support position in possible decreases.
