BIST 100 index ends Tuesday with a decline. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index lost 3.58 percent and closed the day with 1,400.22 points.

At the end of the day, the total transaction volume in the BIST 100 index, which decreased by 51.96 points compared to the previous closing, was recorded as TL 21.1 billion. At the closing, the banking index lost 2.65 percent of its value, while the holding index lost 3.85 percent. While all sector indices depreciated, financial leasing and factoring lost the most with 6.09 percent. As a result of the negative impact of the rise in exchange rates, the BIST 100 index, which followed a sellers course, gained momentum with the break of 1.440 support and the index fell to the level of 1.400.00. Analysts reminded that tomorrow, the data agenda is calm at home and abroad, and the statements from the members of the US Federal Reserve (FED) will be followed. In technical terms, analysts say that the level of 1.390 stand out as support in the BIST 100 index, while the level of 1,470 is in the resistance position.
