BIST 100 Index: Mid-Day Performance

Mid-day performance of BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul was compiled. The shares that rose the most and fell the most during the day were determined.

On Thursday, the BIST 100 index lost 0.14 percent and closed the day at 1,540 points. Today, the BIST 100 index, which started the day from 1.548 points with an increase of 0.48 percent, saw 1.560 points in the first half of the day. Before the CBRT's interest rate decision was announced, BIST Textile&Leather, BIST Transportation, BIST Metal Products&Machinery and BIST Chemical, Petroleum&Plastics were on the rise in sub-indices, while BIST Banks are showing a decrease by 2 percent on a weekly basis, although they are positive today.   The most rising stocks in the first half of the day were: * Merit Turizm Yatırım ve İşletme A.Ş. (IS: MERIT), which accelerated its rise in February, with a monthly return of 84%. * Klimasan Klima Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (IS: KLMSN) is one of the most notable stocks, up 35% this week. * Idealist Danışmanlık A.Ş. (IS: IDEAS) stands out with a 142% return in February. * Yünsa Yünlü Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (IS: YUNSA), the share, which showed limited movement as of the beginning of the year, reached the peak with 25% increase this week. * Kuştur Kuşadası Turizm Endüstrisi A.Ş. (IS: KSTUR) has a 22% premium this week after its 3-week drop. * Say Yenilenebilir Enerji Ekipmanları * Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (IS: SAYAS) saw the peak with 46% rise this week.   The most declining stocks in the first half of the day were: * Sekuro Plastik Ambalaj Sanayi A.Ş. (IS: SEKUR), the share's loss this week approached 12%. * Birlik Mensucat Ticaret ve Sanayi İşletmesi A.Ş. (IS: BRMEN), the share that yielded 21% in February, has not moved into the positive zone as of the beginning of the year. * İzmir Demir Çelik Sanayi A.Ş. (IS: IZMDC), the monthly return of the stock is 5%. Temapol Polimer Plastik ve İnşaat Sanayi * Ticaret A.Ş. (IS: TMPOL), the monthly return of the stock is 17.5%. * Umpaş Holding A.Ş.
