BIST 100 index started Friday with a horizontal movement. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the day at 1,428.91 points with a gain of 0.05 percent.
At the beginning of the day, the
BIST 100 index, which gained 0.77 points and 0.05 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,428.91 points.
While the banking index depreciated by 0.09 percent at the opening, the holding index lost value by 0.01 percent. Among the sector indices, mining was the highest earner with 1.72 percent, while the highest decline was recorded on forest, paper and printing with 0.51 percent.
Yesterday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul moved with sellers despite the lower-than-expected inflation data. The BIST 100 index, which lost 0.18 percent on Thursday, closed the day at 1,428.13 points.
Analysts stated that the global markets followed a mixed course with the concern that increasing inflationary pressures and the recovery in the US labor market may force the US Federal Reserve (FED) to take a step ahead of expectations.
Analysts stated that the real effective exchange rate in the country and the data on non-agricultural employment, unemployment and average hourly earnings in the USA came to the fore today, reminding that the international credit rating agency Moody's, which is expected to be published after the market closure, is also in the focus of investors.
In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1,390 stands out as the support position, and the levels of 1.440 and 1.470 are in the resistance position for the
BIST 100 index.
