BIST 100 Index Closed The Week With An Increase
BIST 100 index closed the week with an increase. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 0.34 percent and finished the day with 1,432.93 points.
At the end of the day, the total transaction volume in the
BIST 100 index, which increased by 4.80 points compared to the previous closing, was recorded as 14.3 billion liras.
At the close, the banking index gained 0.74 percent, while the holding index gained 0.34 percent. Among the sector indices, mining was the highest earner with 3.07%, while the most decline was recorded on tourism with 1.73 percent.
Analysts said that despite the continuing inflationary pressures, the non-farm employment data, which was below expectations, increased the risk appetite and supported the stock markets.
It is stated that next week, industrial production, labor force statistics, and the expectations survey of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) will be monitored in the country, while an intense data agenda will be followed abroad, especially the European Central Bank interest rate decision, growth in the Eurozone, inflation in the USA and China.
In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1,390 stands out as support, and the levels of 1.440 and 1.470 are in the resistance position for the
BIST 100 index.
On the other hand, assessment of the international credit rating agency Moody's on the Turkish economy, which is expected to be announced after the market close tonight, will also be in the focus of investors.
