BIST 100 Index Started Friday With an Increase

BIST 100 index started Friday with an increase. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 0.39 percent and started the day with 1,631.43 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 6.37 points and 0.39 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,631.43 points. While the banking index gained 0.59 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.43 percent. While forest, paper and printing were the highest earners among the sector indices with 0.98 percent, most decline was recorded on real estate investment trusts with 0.42 percent. After reaching its historical peak with 1,643.82 points in Borsa Istanbul yesterday, the BIST 100 index closed the day at 1,625.06 points with a value gain of 0,06 percent compared to the previous close, and renewed its closing record. Analysts stated that today, industrial production and the Market Participants Survey of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) will be followed in the country, industrial production in the Eurozone and consumer confidence index in the USA will be monitored closely. In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 1.650 is in a position of resistance and the level of 1.570 stands out as the support for the BIST 100 index.
