BIST 100 Index Closed The Week With A Record

BIST 100 index closed the week with a record. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 0.83 percent on the day and broke a record with 1,638.50 points.

At the end of the day, the total transaction volume in the BIST 100 index, which increased by 13.44 points compared to the previous close, was recorded as 21.8 billion TL. At the close, the banking index gained 0.63 percent, while the holding index gained 0.98 percent. Among the sector indices, sports with the highest gain of 2.86 percent, while the most decline was recorded on informatics with 1.27 percent. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul, which followed a positive course throughout the day, completed the day with a 0.83 percent increase in value, bringing the closing record to 1,638.50 points. Analysts stated that the interest rate decision and budget balance to be announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) at the Monetary Policy Committee meeting next week, growth in Japan, growth and inflation in the Eurozone, industrial production in China and the USA will be monitored closely. In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 1.650 is in a position of resistance and the level of 1.570 stands out as the support for the BIST 100 index.
