BIST 100 Index Started November With A Rise

BIST 100 index started November with a rise. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the day with 1.523.54 points, gaining 0.10 percent value.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 1.50 points and 0.10 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1.523.54 points. While the banking index gained 0.72 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.04 percent. Among the sector indices, sports with 2.41 percent gained the most, while the most decline was recorded on trade with 1.71 percent. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul closed at 1,522.04 points, gaining 0.18 percent in transactions carried out until noon on Thursday, October 29, Republic Day holiday. The BIST 100 index gained 2.85 percent on a weekly basis. Analysts stated that today, the manufacturing industry Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) data to be announced domestically and worldwide will be followed, and noted that the meetings of the US Federal Reserve on Wednesday and the Bank of England on Thursday are in the focus of investors. It was stated that the positive trend in the domestic markets since the beginning of October continues. In technical terms, it was stated that the 1.530-1.550 band in the BIST 100 index is in the resistance zone and the level of 1.480 stands out as the support.
