BIST 100 Index Started The Day Horizontally on September 15

BIST 100 index started the day horizontally on September 15. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the day with a depreciation of 0.04 percent, at 1,433.86 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which decreased by 0.57 points and 0.04 percent compared to the previous close, dropped to 1,433.86 points. While the banking index depreciated by 0.31 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.09 percent. Forest, paper, printing and banking were the most profitable sectors with 0.67 percent among the sector indices. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul moved in a downward trend yesterday and closed the day at 1,434.43 points with a decrease of 0,27 percent. Analysts stated that the risk appetite decreased with the concerns that the coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic worldwide will continue to negatively affect the economic recovery. It was stated that the New York Fed manufacturing index, industrial production and capacity utilization rate data will be closely monitored in the USA today. In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1.420 stands out as the support, and the levels of 1.440 and 1455 are in the resistance position for the BIST 100 index.
