BIST 100 Index Started the Day With a Decline
BIST 100 index started the day with a decline. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index lost 0.24 percent in value and started the day with 1.441.41 points.
At the beginning of the day, the
BIST 100 index, which lost 3.45 points and 0.24 percent compared to its previous closing, fell to 1.441.41 points.
While the banking index lost its value by 0.33 percent at the opening, the holding index lost its value by 0.30 percent. Among the industry indices, construction was the most profitable with 4.22 percent, while the highest decline was recorded on sports with 3.56 percent.

Analysts said that the increasing inflation concern in global markets increased the selling pressure on world stock markets.
Reminding that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) data to be announced in the USA will be closely monitored worldwide today, analysts said that the CPI is expected to increase by 0.2 percent monthly and 3.6 percent annually in April. In addition, it was noted that housing sales statistics in the country and industrial production data in the Eurozone will be monitored.
Analysts stated that the level of 1.455 stands out as resistance and the level of 1.420 stands out as support for the BIST 100 Index.
Today, domestic markets will be open until noon and will go on a festive holiday that will last 4.5 days. Continuous auction transactions in the stock markets will be held between 10.00 and 12.30, and closing sessions will be held between 12.30-12.40.
