BIST 100 Index Started the Day with a Decrease
BIST 100 index started the day with a decrease. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index lost 0.10 percent and opened the day with 1.550.03 points.
At the beginning of the day, the
BIST 100 index, which decreased by 1.54 points and 0.10 percent compared to its previous closing, fell to 1.550.03 points.
While the banking index lost 0.31 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.06 percent. Among the sector indices, the highest earning was on stone with 0.53 percent, while the highest decline was recorded on sports with 1.32 percent.
The BIST 100 index, which moved with buyers on Thursday, lost 1.13 percent compared to its previous close and fell to 1.551.57 points.
Analysts stated that the resumption of harsh measures due to the increase in new types of coronavirus (Covid-19) cases in Asian countries, especially in China, led to a sales trend in global markets.
The analysts stated that the assessment on Turkey which will be made by the international credit rating agency Standard & Poor's, which is expected to be announced after the market closure, will be followed domestically, and that the leading Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) data to be announced in the USA and Europe will be monitored abroad.
On the technical side, analysts stated that 1.570 and 1.590 levels are in the resistance position and 1.540 and 1.510 are in support for the
BIST 100 index.
