BIST 100 Index Started The Day With An Increase

BIST 100 index started the day with an increase. The BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 0.31 percent and started the day with 1.422.22 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 4.34 points and 0.31 percent compared to its previous closing, reached 1.422.22 points. While the banking index gained 0.34 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.31 percent. Among the sector indices, financial leasing and factoring gained the most with 4.41 percent, while the only decline was recorded on tourism with 0.03 percent. On Wednesday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul ended the day at 1,417.89 points, losing 0.19 percent, despite the recovery in bank stocks. Analysts stated that macroeconomic data, which exceeded expectations, supported the stock markets. Analysts stated that weekly money and bank statistics will be monitored domestically today and reminded that the Producer Price Index in the Eurozone and weekly unemployment claims in the USA, as well as the speech of the Chairman of the US Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell will be followed abroad. On the technical side, analysts stated that the range of 1.440 and 1.465 is in resistance and the level of 1.390 is in support for the BIST 100 index.
