BIST 100 Index Started the Day with Earnings

BIST 100 index started the day with earnings. BIST 100 index gained 0.28 percent in Borsa Istanbul and started the day with 1,424.47 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 3.98 points and 0.28 percent compared to the previous close, reached 1,424.47 points. At the opening, the banking index gained 0.48 percent, while the holding index gained 0.21 percent. Among the sector indices, the highest increase was recorded on securities investment partnership with 0.83 percent, while the highest decline was recorded on tourism with 1.43 percent. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul, which lost value by 0.11% after a calm course on the first trading day of the week, finished the day with 1,420.49 points. It was stated that, in addition to the manufacturing industry Purchasing Managers Index data, which will be announced domestically and worldwide, inflation data in the Eurozone will be monitored. In addition, it was reminded that NATO and OPEC+ meetings are also at the center of the agenda. In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1.390 is in the support position and the level of 1.440 stands out as resistance for the BIST 100 index.
