BIST 100 Index Started Thursday With An Increase

BIST 100 index started Thursday with an increase. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 0.28 percent and opened the day with 1,434.72 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 3.99 points and 0.28 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,434.72 points. While the banking index gained 0.31 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.42 percent. Among the sector indices, tourism was the highest earner with 1.09 percent, while the only decline was recorded on insurance with 0.14 percent. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul, which partially recovered its losses with reaction purchases after falling to 1,418 points yesterday, closed the day with 1,430.73 points, losing 0.09 percent. Analysts stated that today's inflation in the country, the services sector Purchasing Managers Index to be announced worldwide, as well as the ADP private sector employment in the USA, the speeches of the US Federal Reserve officials and the Governor of the Bank of England Andrew Bailey will be followed. In technical terms, analysts say that the level of 1.390 is in the support position, while the levels of 1.440 and 1.470 stands out as resistance for the BIST 100 index.
