BIST 100 Index Started Thursday Horizontally

BIST 100 index started Thursday horizontally. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index lost 0.04 percent and opened the day with 1,426.55 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which lost 0.52 points and 0.04 percent compared to its previous closing, fell to 1.426.55 points. At the closing, the banking index lost 0.18 percent, while the holding index fell 0.13 percent. While the metal main industry earned the most with 0.25 percent among the sector indices, the biggest decline was recorded on sports with 0.57 percent. Yesterday, the BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul moved positively, especially with the strengthened response purchases in bank stocks, and ended the day at 1,427.06 points with 1.92 percent gain in value. Analysts stated that inflation concerns, the recovery in economies after the coronavirus epidemic and uncertainties regarding monetary policies caused a mixed course in global markets. Today, it was stated that the weekly money and bank statistics in the country and the growth data of the USA will be followed abroad. On the technical side, analysts stated that the level of 1.390 is in the support position and 1.470 points in the resistance position for the BIST 100 index.
