BIST 100 Index Started Tuesday With A Fall
BIST 100 index started Tuesday with a fall. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul lost value by 0.22 percent and started the day with 1.451.06 points.
At the beginning of the day, the
BIST 100 index, which lost value by 3.19 points and 0.22 percent compared to the previous close, fell to 1,451.06 points.
While the banking index depreciated by 0.66 percent at the opening, the holding index lost value by 0.19 percent. Among the sector indices, transportation was the highest earner with 0.59 percent, while the highest decline was recorded on communication with 0.66 percent.
Yesterday, the BIST 100 index in
Borsa Istanbul closed the day at 1,454.25 points with a 0.45 percent depreciation after moving with sellers.
Analysts, in the statement released after the NATO meeting yesterday, stated that the statements about China partially increased the global risk perception, and stated that a mixed course prevailed in the stock markets before the US Federal Reserve's interest rate decision to be announced tomorrow.
It was stated that today, the budget balance in the country and the statements of the Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey, as well as the Producer Price Index, industrial production and retail sales data in the USA will be closely monitored.
In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1,440 is in the position of support, and the levels of 1.470 and 1.490 stands out as resistance for the BIST 100 index.
