BIST 100 Index Started Tuesday With A Rise

BIST 100 index started Tuesday with rise. BIST 100 index gained 0.31% in Borsa Istanbul and opened the day with 1,402.88 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 4.36 points and 0.31% compared to the previous close, rose to 1,402.88 points. While the banking index gained 0.42 percent at the opening, the holding index lost 0.08 percent. Among the sector indices, the highest earner was the securities investment partnership with 0.75 percent, while the most decline was recorded on sports with 0.20 percent. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the day with a depreciation yesterday, moved fluctuating towards the close, and closed the day with 1,398.52 points, gaining 0.54 percent. Analysts stated that the sensitivity of the markets to all kinds of explanations and data has increased, and that the volatility experienced in the stock markets during the shaping of investor expectations may remain on the agenda for a while. In this context, analysts stated that FED Chairman Jerome Powell's presentation in the House of Representatives and the verbal guidance of FED officials will be closely followed along with the Fed Manufacturing Index. In technical terms, analysts stated that the levels of 1.390 and 1.370 are in a position of support and the level of 1.470 stands out as resistance for the BIST 100 index.
