BIST 100 Index Started Tuesday With A Rise

BIST 100 index started Tuesday with a rise. BIST 100 index gained 0.19 percent in Borsa Istanbul and started the day with 1,402.26 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 2.61 points and 0.19 percent compared to the previous close, reached 1,402.26 points. While the banking index depreciated by 0.06 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.15 percent. Among the sector indices, the biggest gainer was trade with 1.26%, while the most decline was recorded on banking. The BIST 100 index acted with buyers yesterday after the manufacturing industry Purchasing Managers Index showed that the expansion continued and positive export figures, and closed the day at 1,399.65 points with an increase of 0.48 percent. Analysts stated that mixed signals from macroeconomic data and the delta variant that continues to spread in the coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic reduced risk appetite on a global scale. It was stated that today, inflation in the country, Producer Price Index (PPI) in the Eurozone and factory orders in the USA will be closely monitored. In technical terms, analysts stated that if the BIST 100 index is maintained above 1.390, the level of 1.420 will stand out as the resistance, and the levels of 1.377 and 1.350 will be in the support position.
