BIST 100 Index Started Tuesday With An Increase

BIST 100 index started Tuesday with an increase. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 0.15 percent and opened the day with 1,394.72 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 2.08 points and 0.15 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,394.72 points. While the banking index depreciated by 0.03 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.15 percent. Among the sector indices, IT was the most profitable with 2.01 percent, while the most decline was recorded on trade with 0.25 percent. Yesterday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul followed an upward trend and ended the day with 1,392.64 points, gaining 1.16 percent in value. Analysts stated that before the minutes of the US Federal Reserve (FED) to be announced on Thursday, country and sector-based divergences in global stock markets increased and the rising trend in gold and oil prices also drew attention. It was stated that today, the data to be announced will be followed, especially the real effective exchange rate in the country, retail sales in the Eurozone and ISM non-manufacturing PMI in the USA. In technical terms, analysts noted that levels of 1.400 and 1.440 stand out as resistance and the level of 1,350 is in a position of support for the BIST 100 index.
