BIST 100 index started Wednesday with a decrease. BIST 100 index lost 0.81 percent in Borsa Istanbul and started the day with 1,420.40 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which lost value by 11.64 points and 0.81 percent compared to the previous close, fell to 1,420.40 points. While the banking index depreciated by 1.15 percent at the opening, the holding index depreciated by 1.01%. While all sector indices lost value at the opening of the day, while the highest decline was recorded on sports with 1.40 percent. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul, which showed an upward trend on Tuesday, gained 0.81 percent and finished the day with 1,432.04 points. Analysts stated that a mixed course was followed between the recovery in economic activity and inflation concerns in the global stock markets, and the undecided pricing. It was stated that today, the export data in Turkey, the Beige book report of the US Federal Reserve (Fed), the Producer Price Index (PPI) in the Eurozone and the speeches of the European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde and Fed members will be monitored. In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1.390 is in the support position and the level of 1.440 stands out as resistance for the BIST 100 index.
