BIST 100 Index Started Wednesday With A Rise

BIST 100 index started Wednesday with a rise. In Borsa Istanbul, BIST 100 index gained 0.16 percent and started the day with 1,449.85 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 2.26 points and 0.16 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,449.85 points. While the banking index gained 0.15 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.33 percent. Among the sector indices, mining was the highest earner with 0.50 percent, while the most decline was recorded on securities investment trust with 0.93 percent. Yesterday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul followed a horizontal course and finished the day with 1,447.59 points, gaining 0.04 percent value. Analysts stated that the upward revisions in macroeconomic data and growth forecasts kept the optimism in the markets, while inflation concerns and the related uncertainties regarding monetary policies limited purchases. It is stated that the data agenda in the country is calm today, while the inflation data to be announced in the USA tomorrow and the interest rate decision of the European Central Bank will be monitored closely. In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1,390 stands out as support and the level of 1.470 is in the resistance position for the BIST 100 index.
