BIST 100 Index Ends Tuesday Horizontally

BIST 100 index ends Tuesday horizontally. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 0.04 percent and closed the day with 1,447.59 points.

At the end of the day, the total transaction volume in the BIST 100 index, which increased by 0.51 points compared to the previous closing, was recorded as 14.3 billion liras. At the close, the banking index gained 0.17 percent, while the holding index gained 0.18 percent. Among the sector indices, the most profitable was financial leasing and factoring with 1.74 percent, while the most decline was recorded on sports with 1.71 percent. Analysts stated that a mixed course was followed in global stock markets due to inflationary pressures and uncertainties regarding the future of monetary policies. It is stated that the data agenda is calm in the country tomorrow, while abroad, inflation in China, foreign trade data and wholesale goods stocks in Germany will be followed. In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1,390 is in the support position and the level of 1.470 stands out as resistance for the BIST 100 index.
