BIST 100 Started Friday With An Increase
BIST 100 index started Friday with an increase. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the day at 2,035.71 points with an increase of 0,21 percent.
At the beginning of the day, the
BIST 100 index, which gained 4.26 points and 0.21 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 2,035.71 points.
While the banking index depreciated by 0.18 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.29 percent. Among the sector indices, transportation was the most profitable with 1.86 percent, while the most decline was recorded on forest, paper and printing with 0.83 percent.
Yesterday in Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index gained 1.34 percent compared to the previous closing, breaking the closing record with 2.031.44 points, while also bringing the record for the highest level it had seen during the day to 2.053.47 points.
Analysts stated that the increasing number of cases in the coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic reduced the risk appetite, and stated that investors were cautious before the inflation data to be announced in the USA today.
It was also stated that today, the market participants survey and unemployment rate of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) will be followed in the country, and the inflation data in Germany and industrial production in the UK will be monitored closely.
In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 2.050 is in a position of resistance and the level of 1.960 stands out as the support for the
BIST 100 index.
