BIST 100 Started Thursday With A Rise
BIST 100 index started Thursday with a rise. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the day at 2,013.12 points with an increase of 0.43 percent.
At the beginning of the day, the
BIST 100 index, which gained 8.57 points and 0.43 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 2,013.12 points.
While the banking index gained 0.31 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.41 percent. Among the sector indices, forest, paper and printing were the highest earners with 1.08 percent, while the most decline was recorded on financial leasing and factoring with 0.70 percent.
Yesterday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul broke the closing record with 2.004.55 points, increasing by 1.19 percent compared to the previous closing, and it brought the highest level record it had seen during the day to 2.012.26 points.
Analysts noted that the concerns about the Omicron variant and high inflation that emerged in the coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic are in the focus of investors.
It was stated that today, weekly money and bank statistics in the country, foreign trade balance in Germany and weekly unemployment applications and wholesale stocks in the USA will be monitored closely.
In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 2.040 is in a position of resistance and the level of 1.960 stands out as the support for the
BIST 100 index.
