BIST 100 Started New Week With A Loss
BIST 100 started new week with a loss. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index lost 0.12 percent and opened the day with 1,343.58 points.
At the beginning of the day, the
BIST 100 index, which lost 1.57 points and 0.12 percent compared to its previous closing, fell to 1.343.58 points.
While the banking index lost its value by 0.21 percent at the opening, the holding index also lost 0.15 percent. Among the industry indices, securities investment trusts earned the most with 1.18 percent, while the highest decline was recorded on electricity with 0.99 percent.
The BIST 100 index, which closed last week on Thursday due to Friday being a public holiday, lost 4.47 percent on a weekly basis. On Thursday, the BIST 100 gained 1.10 percent as a result of the reaction purchases, ending the day with 1,345.15 points.
Analysts stated that the real sector confidence index and capacity utilization rate in Turkey will be monitored today, and Ifo indices in Germany and durable goods orders in the USA will be monitored abroad, and the data agenda of the week including the Inflation Report to be announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey on Thursday and the interest rate decisions of the Central Bank and the Bank of Japan will be closely monitored.
The analysts who said that the financial results of the company to be announced domestically this week could also increase the movements based on shares and the sector, stated that the developments regarding the issue will be monitored due to the increasing tension with the USA after
Joe Biden described the 1915 events as "genocide".
In technical terms, analysts noted that the 1.300-1.310 band is in the support position for the BIST 100 index, and a persistence of over 1.400 points will be sought for possible increases to gain strength.
